Inspiring Curiosity.
Building Excellence.
We are proud to be recognised as an Apple Distinguished School — the first public school in Western Australia to receive this honour, proudly leading the way since 2015.
At Bertram Primary School, we Aspire to dream bigger, Connect to learn together, Enrich to grow beyond.

Our ADS Journey
Leading Innovation in Learning.
Our students have been part of the BYOD iPad program from their very first day of school. At BPS, we use technology purposefully to aspire, connect, and enrich — embedding innovation into everyday teaching and learning across our whole school community.
Staff grow their practice through professional learning, internal coaching and trade-off sessions. Students are equipped with creative tools and third-party services that bring ambitious projects to life across all year levels.
1:1 Stories of Impact
Learning that creates real change.
From the classroom to the world
Our students create, collaborate and contribute to something real. They share ideas with authentic audiences, connect learning to the world around them, and take ownership of their growth as communicators, creators and leaders.
Apple’s assistive features and differentiated digital tools ensure every student can access learning on their own terms — participating fully, demonstrating understanding in their own way, and producing work that matters.
“Every learner at Bertram Primary School has a voice, a platform and an audience.“

Our Three Pillars
Inspire. Imagine. Impact.
Three pillars grounded in our Bertram Primary School values of Aspire, Connect and Enrich — shaping a culture where every student creates, leads and contributes.

Students aspire to share their ideas with real audiences. They create podcasts, design multimedia presentations and produce digital projects — moving beyond the classroom to connect with the wider world. Learning is personalised and driven by student voice.

Teachers and students connect to rethink what learning looks like. With Apple Coaches and ICT lead teachers supporting our staff, teachers are empowered to redesign learning experiences using Apple tools, Seesaw and Canva. Through our infrastructure, learning is reimagined — moving students from consuming to creating, designing and problem-solving.

Learning enriches every student and the wider community. Assistive technology ensures full participation for all learners. Student-led initiatives — Bertram Buzz and Genius Bar — build confidence and future-ready skills. Our walkthrough program shares this growth across WA education.
